A guide to understanding the living world
FaunaGuide connects species, habitats and stories to help you observe nature with curiosity, context and respect for evidence.
How we select and review
We start with identifiable sources, distinguish data from interpretation, and show dates, geographic scope and limitations where they matter. Editorial reviews and documented corrections improve the content over time.
Images in context
Documentary photography and illustrations serve different purposes. We identify the origin, creator and licence of visual material; conceptual images are not presented as identification evidence.
A work in progress
Coverage is not yet complete. A missing species or relationship is not proof of absence, and no profile replaces specialist advice when health or conservation is at stake.
